Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how WaldKlang Company (“we”, “us”, “our”) processes information in connection with our websites, applications, software products, digital content, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

2. Information we process

The information processed depends on the platform you use, whether ads are enabled, and which features you use. Categories may include:

  • Device and app information: device model, operating system, app version, language, region, time zone, and similar technical metadata.
  • Diagnostics and reliability data: crash reports, error logs, startup and performance diagnostics, and troubleshooting metadata.
  • Usage information: interactions with app screens or features, app state information relevant to performance, and aggregated internal usage metrics.
  • Advertising-related identifiers: advertising identifiers and consent status on supported mobile platforms, used for advertising delivery, frequency control, and advertising measurement, and where legally permitted and enabled, ad personalization.
  • Information you provide or configure: settings, content, entries, device or account-related information, support requests, and other information you choose to provide while using the Services. Depending on the Service, this information may be stored locally on your device.
  • Purchase-related information: purchase status, subscription status, and entitlement information for paid features or purchases. Payment processing is handled by the applicable app store, marketplace, or platform provider, not by WaldKlang Company directly.

3. Local storage and device data

Some Services may store settings, cached state, user inputs, or other operational data locally on your device. In some cases, local data may be stored in persistent or encrypted storage where supported by the platform.

We do not state that all locally stored data is routinely uploaded to our servers. However, limited fragments of technical or contextual data may appear in diagnostics if an error occurs while the Services are processing it.

4. How we use information

  • Provide and operate the Services: deliver features, maintain settings, store state where applicable, and support normal operation.
  • Internal analysis and improvement: monitor reliability, diagnose crashes, measure performance, debug issues, and improve the Services internally.
  • Advertising: display ads, manage ad frequency, measure ad performance, and support advertising-related consent flows.
  • Security, abuse prevention, and legal compliance: protect the Services, enforce policies, and comply with legal obligations.

Except for advertising-related processing described in this policy, we use data only for internal analysis, internal operations, support, security, and improvement of the Services.

5. Advertising

Some Services may display ads on supported platforms. If advertising is enabled, advertising partners may process advertising identifiers, device/app information, consent status, and ad interaction data to deliver ads and measure campaign or ad-unit performance. Depending on your region, platform, and consent choices, ads may be personalized, non-personalized, or limited.

If a Service offers an ad-removal or premium purchase option, purchase status information may be used to adjust features or stop showing ads on the relevant account or platform context as supported by the store or platform.

6. Diagnostics and error reporting

We use Sentry for crash and error reporting in release builds. Diagnostics may include error messages, stack traces, app version, device and operating system information, and related technical context needed to investigate failures and improve reliability.

7. Notifications and permissions

  • Notifications: if you enable reminders, alerts, or notifications, a Service may request notification permission and store related schedules or preferences locally.
  • Platform capability checks: some Services may check operating-system capabilities or permissions to determine whether a feature is available.
  • Device permissions: depending on the Service, certain features may rely on permissions or device settings that you control through the app or platform.

8. Your choices and controls

  • Ad and consent choices: where required, you can accept, reject, or manage ad-related consent choices through the consent flow or available privacy options.
  • Device settings: you may be able to reset or limit advertising identifiers and ad tracking through your device settings, subject to platform support.
  • Notifications: you can disable notifications through the relevant Service or your device settings.
  • Local data: you may be able to remove entries, reset app data, uninstall the app, or delete exported files under your control, depending on the Service.
  • Purchases: purchase management and refunds are generally handled through the platform or store account you used.

9. Sharing

We may share or make information available to:

  • Advertising providers that help deliver and measure ads.
  • Infrastructure and diagnostic providers that help us operate the Services, including crash reporting and technical troubleshooting.
  • App store and payment platform providers that process purchases, entitlements, and restoration requests.
  • Legal authorities or counterparties where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or enforce our terms.

10. Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Data stored locally in the app generally remains on your device until you delete it, reset the app, remove it through app controls, or uninstall the app. Crash and diagnostic data may be retained by our service providers according to their retention settings and policies.

11. International transfers

Some service providers, including advertising, infrastructure, and diagnostic providers, may process information outside your country of residence. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

12. Children’s privacy

Our Services are not directed to children as a primary audience unless expressly stated otherwise. If you believe a child provided personal information to us in a way that requires action, contact us.

13. Updates to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the Services where appropriate.

14. Contact

For privacy questions, contact info@waldklangcompany.com.

15. Third-party services

Some Services rely on third-party providers, including advertising, app-store, payment, infrastructure, and diagnostic services such as Google and Sentry. Those providers may process information in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies.
